How long does a car wash take?
The time required for a wash depends on the service selected and your vehicle’s condition. Below are the estimated timeframes for our most popular services:
- Exterior/Express Wash – 30 to 45 minutes
- Snap Platinum Wash – 45 to 60 minutes
- Snap Polish Wash – 60 to 90 minutes
- Snap Interior Detail – 70 to 100 minutes
- Snap Full Detail – Approximately 2 hours

An X-Large vehicle typically refers to larger SUVs, vans, utes, and trucks that require additional time and effort to clean due to their size and complexity. Examples include, but are not limited to:

Why does it cost more to wash larger vehicles?
At Snap Car Wash, our pricing is based on the time, effort, and resources required to deliver a thorough hand car wash. Larger vehicles, such as SUVs, vans, and 4WDs, have greater surface areas, more intricate interiors, and often require additional cleaning time compared to smaller cars.
Because our services are labour-intensive, the increased time and effort needed to clean larger vehicles results in a higher service cost. This ensures that we can provide the same level of care, attention to detail, and high-quality results regardless of your vehicle size.

What should I do if I'm not satisfied with my wash
At Snap Car Wash, we strive to deliver the highest quality service. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your wash, we want to make it right. Our Re-Wash policy allows us to be fully transparent in ensuring you are 100% satisfied. Please Note. Please note that we are unable to clean the underside of your vehicle, as our facility does not utilize hoists or lifting equipment.
- Before Leaving the Site – We kindly ask that you inspect your vehicle upon pickup. If you notice any areas that may have been missed or require additional attention, please inform the onsite manager immediately. Our team will promptly address your concerns to ensure your satisfaction.
- After You Have Left – If you notice an issue after leaving the site, please reach out to our Customer Service Team as soon as possible. We are committed to resolving any concerns in a timely manner.
